<8号线幻想>系列
    地铁是在广州生活过的人们最熟悉不过的一个场景，而8号线凝聚了一段我求学时光的回忆。最初是想做跟真实的生活相关，又有些态度的创作。当严谨、单纯的黑白基调在版面上呈现时，作品的“态度”就变得格外冷峻起来。防毒面具是其中反复出现的一个视觉元素，融入在或荒诞或静穆的场景中，让司空见惯的公共场所“地铁”成为了缔造新的视觉秩序的容器。如何在日常中改变寻常事物所提供的信息——这正是我的一种尝试。
    Metro is one of the most familiar scenes for all people lived in Guangzhou, and Line 8 has become a segment of my university life that’s carved into memories. My first idea was to create life-related work that showed its own attitude. When that idea was demonstrated on the plate, however, the “attitude” presented an exceptionally cold feeling due to rigorousness and simplicity of black-and-white color. Coupled with the nature of communal facilities, antigas mask as a visual element repeatedly occurring in the work series added to the uncertainties of information provided by the organized visual schema. Changing the information provided by the common things — that is one of my attempts.

<夏夜幻想>系列
    有别于《8号线幻想》冷峻的气质，在《夏夜幻想》系列中，我想通过画面多传达一些平和、静好的情绪。这个系列的主角，主要是一些儿童和少年，他们可能表现出了一点在生活中某些诙谐趣味的表面下所渗透出的莫名的尴尬和小小的别扭，以及在诗意静谧的空间里对“梦想”的遥望和对“浪漫”的坚守。
    Unlike Fantasy of Line 8, I try to deliver more peaceful and quiet emotions through Summer Night Fantasy. Featuring children and teenagers, the series presents certain narratives scenes where inexplicable embarrassment and awkwardness of the characters are revealed beneath their humorous and funny surface, and represents expectation on the “dream” and insistence on the “romance”.
