《在别处》系列作品用套色木刻的表现方式，对画面进行冷处理，以冷峻的态度对待画面中出现的一幕幕场景。作品以异化的动物为表达载体，它们总是出现在不合时宜的空间里。伴随着异化动物的随意闯入，这些公共空间的功能性一并被消解，公路上汽车不能行驶，泳池无人嬉戏，地铁入口被堵塞……公共空间瞬间成为悠闲散漫的放牧场。在我所描绘的公共空间里却没有人的出现，取而代之的是一群异化的动物，即便如此，却也忽略不了隐藏在背后的人，正是人为的种种行为导致了社会中频发的异化现象，当这种种异化现象反作用于人和社会时，必将形成致命性的破坏。
My work is delivered through Chromatic woodcut, to treat the picture in a calm way, and I treated all the scenes in the picture with a cool attitude. My work used alienated animals as the vehicle of expression, who often appeared at misplacing places. With the casual intrusion by the alienated animals, the functionality of these public spaces were dispelled. Cars could not drive on the road, nobody can swim at the swimming pool, and the exit of subway was jammed…… The public spaces were turned into leisure and disordered pastures. However, there was no human being in the public spaces as I displayed. Instead, the alienatd animals are playing that role. That it was the human behaviors which caused the alienating phenomenon frequently occurring at the society. All these alienating phenomenon, when affecting people and society on a reversing way, could be deadly destructive.
