每张创作都基于认知和心境

内容摘要:感觉和知觉不能直接拿来创作,没有被事物本质净化过的感觉和知觉只会停留在情绪的表面,我让自己的画面用简洁的语言呈现给观者,但同时画面具有丰富的信息来展现架上绘画的魅力。

    
    从前有座山,山里有座庙,庙里有个老和尚在和小和尚讲故事,故事内容是:”从前有座山,山里有座庙,庙里有个老和尚在和小和尚讲故事,故事内容……小时候看过或者听过的童话里,这个故事的记忆最深刻,促使我后来走上绘画的道路也一直对超现实主义、博斯、马格利特、卢梭、史云梅耶、埃舍尔、klint的作品有浓厚的兴趣。
    
    “Once upon a time, there is a mountain. On top of the mountain stands a temple, where two monks live. One day, the old monk tells the young monk a story: ‘once upon a time, there is a mountain. On top of the mountain stands a temple, where two monks live. One day, the old monk tells the young monk a story…’” This is the story that impressed me most among all the stories I heard during my childhood. It aroused my interest in surrealism and the works of Bsche, Magritte, Rousseau, Jan Svankmajer, M.C. Escher and Klint.
    
    想象力与人的认知是否成正比这个问题,开始引导我创作“治愈回避型人格”的这个系列。确切的说任何深刻的艺术表现都是对真实一种有意识的感觉的产物,对我而言每张创作都基于认知和心境而来,乐意捕捉来源各处的灵感,比如脑海里记得的一次有趣的对话或者翻开某本书里的一个句子,这些都会不经意触动我,创意地将自然的经验诠释出来成为创作源泉。我创作的主题很广,很大,用模糊的意念方式创作,例如作品中出现手掌伸向上方的黑洞、无限循环的手势、手心组成的hamsa、用望远镜看着对面一模一样的自己、兵马俑和洋娃娃在现实的相遇、没有脸的人不是没有情绪的表现,等等供观者细细品味。
    
    The question of whether humans’ imaginations is in direct proportion to humans’ cognition guided me to compose the series themed on “Curing Avoidant Personality.” To be exact, any profound artistic expression is a product of the perception of the reality. To me, every design is based on perception and mental state. I am ready to capture everything that inspires me. For example, an interesting dialogue or a sentence in a book might touch me. I am good at creatively expressing the natural experiences in my design. My design works feature a wide range of themes. I might create with a fuzzy idea. For example, there might be a hand reaching for the black hole, a constantly circulating gesture, a Hamsa formed by palm, a self looked through the telescope, an encounter between the Terra-Cotta Warrior and the doll and a person without face but is full of emotions. All these works are very thought-provoking for my audiences.

    我痴迷同样随性的”表达媒介”水溶性材料。随意玩弄颜色在画面流动,画笔有意无意的勾勒和控制着形态,偶尔会出现意料之外的效果,我沉浸于这种只有我的绘画状态,迷恋和水的暧昧关系。正如你们看到的“blu时期”系列的创作。
    
    I am also crazy about the water-soluble materials, a random “expression medium.” I might play with the color randomly to let it flow freely on the painting and use the brush consciously or unconsciously to depict and control the shape. Sometimes, I might achieve unexpected effects. I am indulged in my painting state and infatuated with water. As to “Blu Period” series creation.

    Perception and feeling cannot be adopted directly for creation. The feeling and perception without being purified by the essence of things will be focused on just superficial emotions. I display my painting to my audiences with simplified art language, but my painting is full of information and charm.

吴曼迪
1991年 出生于广东佛山顺德
2009年 就读广州美术学院,油画系第四工作室。
2010年 结识瑞士艺术品修复师Julita Beck教授,深度学习油画材料于技法。
2011年 创办《安定里油画工作室》
2012年 《出巢》欧洲摄影作品展,master art space。
2013年 《遗失的传统》,(Luciano Chen,mandiwood双人展),新松园。
2013年 《广东省高校油画作品学院展》获学生组三等奖,广州美院美术馆。
2013年 毕业创作作品其一收藏于广州美术学院美术馆,荣获“art64艺术空间”颁发的亚广奖学金。
2013.10 考入意大利Accademia di belle arti di Carrara,研究生当代绘画工作室。
2014年 《不期而遇》水彩个展,Festival dell‘Oriente, carrara,italy
