比利时驻广州总领事馆及瓦隆-布鲁塞尔驻华代表团和加拿大、法国和瑞士驻广州总领事馆携手广州法语联盟共同举办的第20届法语活动节3月6日在珠江边沙面岛的广州俱乐部举行，四国总领事在开幕式上分别致辞宣布法语活动节开幕。

3月10日到30日，法语活动节将带来展现法语之丰富多彩的各类盛事，涵括电影、时尚、音乐、视觉艺术、美食、文学、运动等文化活动，所有活动免费参与（有的需要提前报名），并有现场中文翻译 !
    由于法语是29个国家的57地区唯一或并列官方语言，因此法语被视为世界上主要的国际语言之一。 每年三月，法语国家将在世界各地组织法语活动节。在广州第二十届法语活动节举行之际，多姿多彩的一系列活动（电影、音乐会、讲座、展览、研讨会、学生竞赛等）将呈现给公众。大部分活动免费面向公众，并配有中文翻译。比利时驻广州总领事馆及瓦隆-布鲁塞尔驻华代表团和加拿大、法国和瑞士驻广州总领事馆携手广州法语联盟谨荣幸地向您介绍法国活动节当月的活动日程。
    In this beautiful spring, French-speaking countries will hold the 2015 Francophonie Festival from March 6th to March 30th.
This festival is sponsored by embassies of members or observers of International Organisation of Francophonie, branches of Alliance Française in China, and relevant Chinese associations and universities. It will serve as a good platform for people to meet, communicate as well as interact.
    Most activities are open for the public and accompanied with Chinese translators.
To celebrate the 19th Francophonie Festival, four countries will work together to hold a lot of activities to show the charm of French language (films, concerts. Lectures, exhibitions, seminars, contests etc.)

Drawing class and autograph-signing meetings of cartoonist Michel Rodrigue—author of Cubitus
Although Michel Rodrigue was born in April Fool’s Day, he was a really rigorous person at work. Finishing his career as a good rugbyman, a puppet master, an artist in cirque and an actor in theatre, he started in Lombard his creation of humorous cartoon series, including the most famous one—“New adventures of Cubitus”.
There will be two meetings in Mar. 15th (Sunday), one in Guangzhou Library in the morning (for children only), and the other in Guangzhou French Language Alliance (for members of the alliance only).

From 15 :00 to 17 :00 of March 22nd (Sunday), 2015, Yasmina Khadra will give a lecture in Fangsuo Commune, with a discussion on recent events in France.
This writer was born in Algeria, and his original name is Mhammed Moulessehoul. The pen name Yasmina Khadra is actually his wife’s name. Yasmina Khadra has written over 30 works and enjoys a large number of readers in 42 countries. Many of his works has been adapted into movies, plays, puppet shows and comics.

Face-to-face meeting with 14 French higher educational institutions in Shenzhen
On the 20th China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), Consulate General of France in Guangzhou and Guangzhou Organization of Campus France will hold the “meeting between 14 French higher educational institutions and Chinese students” in Shenzhen University in March 19th (Thursday). The 14 French institutions include 1 university, 6 schools of commerce and 7 technical schools.
In the meeting, representatives of French institutions will have face-to face talks with students who are interested to study in France for a bachelor’s, master’s or doctor’s degree.

French gastronomy festival
Consulate General of France in Guangzhou will hold a French gastronomy festival in March 28th.
Those invited French chefs and experts of cuisine will respectively host 6 food workshops on the 4th floor of HI Department Store, Grandview Mall, and share with the coming food-lovers secrets of making delicious food from 11:00 to 16:00.
Children will find the secrets of food, learn to make French lemon souffle and ice cream.
Adults may try to make salmon and profiteroles, get a few secrets of oenology and feel the enjoyment of setting French dining table.

“Transition of energy: hope and reality”
Mode transition from relying on petrochemical-based non-renewable energy to mainly using renewable energy will face a lot of challenges. Professor Bertrand Mercier (French Committee of atomic and alternative energy and National Conservatory of Arts and Industry) and engineer from Sino-French Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Technology (IFCEN) will answer questions about energy transition from a scientific point of view.

“三角洲社会共同体的兴起?”是第六届珠三角地区法语大学生演讲比赛的主题，来自香港、深圳和广州各大学的参赛者将围绕这个主题阐述自己的观点。
此次比赛由法国驻广州和香港-澳门总领事馆协同港澳对外法语协会和中山大学共同组织，第一名将获得往返巴黎的机票，前往洛林大学参加为期三周的语言活动。
此次比赛将于2015年3月28日周六在中山大学举行。获奖者将获赠巴黎往返机票及语言学习营名额一名。第二和第三名获奖者将获赠10000以上人民币的奖金

2015 Pearl River Delta French Speaking Competiton for University Students
« Emergence of Delta social community ? » is the topic of the 6th Pearl River Delta French Speaking Competiton for University Students. Contestants from universities of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou will express their ideas on this topic.
This competiton is organized by Consulate Generals of France in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao, and co-organized by Hong Kong and Macao Association of Foreign French Language and Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). The winner will can get a round-trip ticket to Paris and join a three-week language activity held in University of Lorraine.
This competition will be held in Sun Yat-sen University in Mar. 28th (Saturday), 2015. The first place winner will get a round-trip ticket to Paris and one seat of the language camp. The second and third place winners will get over 10000 RMB as prizes.
