内容摘要：物象的选择和安排是对自我潜意识的挖掘和探索，就像一些心理测试题目带给我的想象一样：在什么样的环境出现什么样的人和物，或许体现的正是我们从未被察觉的潜意识世界。我只是把它呈现于画布。就像我们将梦境陈述于语言，然后我们记录它，分析它，再从中发现自己。
《切磋》《黑山羊》《月球表面》这几张小画是我对之前创作的一些调整性和摸索性的作品。在画了一些带有情节的场景大幅创作之后，会想回归到绘画语言的探索上，所以画一些小幅的作品。内容主要是我平时在网络上搜集或者在影视作品的截取的图像。有一些元素恰巧也在我的大幅作品中出现过的。我认为对于绘画的内容的选择虽说是无意识的，但其中一定有一个内外的东西在影响，这或许就是所谓的潜意识。这是我一直感兴趣的。被常见的而貌似没有意义的图像内容突然吸引住，收藏并通过重复和理性的描绘。我希望能通过描绘没有意义的事物来发现意义。《灭虫》《对白》则是在这个基础上，从样式和构图上作出的一点尝试。———— 周毅

《被遗失的信件》、《喷泉》、《案发地》及《夜语》这一些列作品，是我自己虚拟带有情节性的画面。物象的选择和安排是对自我潜意识的挖掘和探索，就像一些心理测试题目带给我的想象一样：在什么样的环境出现什么样的人和物，或许体现的正是我们从未被察觉的潜意识世界。我只是把它呈现于画布。就像我们将梦境陈述于语言，然后我们记录它，分析它，再从中发现自己。
This series of works includes《Letters have been lost》、《The fountain》、《Obtained》and 《The whispers in the night》shows the kind of narrative prose account of my own virtual fantasy.I selected and arranged the images in a proper way in order to demonstrate the complex subconscious of human being. As we all know, psychological tests always take us to the world of imagination. By answering the test questions, we will try to image that what kind of people or things will come out in an assumptive situation. And then we will go into the world of subconscious world that we never noticed. All I want to do is to present the subconscious world on the canvas. Just like we bring our dreams into words, and we record them, analyze them, then find the truth of ourselves.

周毅的作品日渐形成一种赋有诗意的超现实色彩的个人风格。在他的实践中，他潜入个人的潜意识世界，发掘其中的幻想性图像，通过拼贴、剪裁，令形象浮现与消失的方式，建构了一个如同谜语般的图像世界。在这个世界中，我们重新体验着记忆的残片，失落的词语，毫无指向的字母，以及荒谬现实引发的玩笑。它们如同失落的遗物突然在我们不经意间忽然出现。它们没有指向什么，而是用自身褪色的速度提示曾经的幻想。它们停留在一种中间状态，这种状态时时越过了时间。 车建全 著
Zhouyi’s works are poetic and dreamy, verges on surrealism style. He dived into the subconscious world and looked for the fantasy images. He used collage, crop and some other methods to build an image world which just like a labyrinth. In this world, we can find some memory pieces, lost words, meaningless letters and ridiculous jokes. They just like the lost things suddenly appeared in our eyes. They are ambiguous and faded, remind us of the old illusion. They stayed in an intermediate state which beyond the borders of time.
