在《沐》的最初，站在第一张画布前，我心中没有对象，没有题材，没有记忆来辅助我创造，有的只是一个念头：黑色；以及一个情节：他/她/它在那里。我以汉字“沐”为题，用的就是那个“存在于”的含义：“沐浴在阳光下”、“沐浴在爱河中”。他在那里，那里是黑色的。绘画的过程是压抑的，这种压抑并不是来自于题材或者画面，反之画面也不来自于它，反而可以说它是完全平行于绘画本身的一种氛围，仅仅是，画画的时候，“我”在那里。一旦注意力回到画面上，这压抑便不再感受得到了。“他”在那里，“我”也在那里。在那里，我不需要分析颜色需要如何搭配，笔触又要如何安排，更多时候，颜色与我是互动的，画面是我“在那里”留下的痕迹。我享受其中。
In the beginning of painting the MU , I was standing in front of the canvas, I didn’t have an idea or a motif. Without thinking, I began to paint, all I had was just a word “black”, and a subconscious feeling “someone is here”. The Chinese word „MU(沐)“ means a bath or a shower, but I didn’t name my painting as „A Bath“, because „MU“ also has other meanings like „To Be There“ or „Stay“. People says „MU“ not only when someone taking a bath, but also when somebody is standing under the sun or fall in love, or being in an atmosphere or emotion, which is usually to be a positive though.
I let the figure stay in the black uncertain space, without a clearly mind, what are they doing. They seems happy, sad, anger, not sure, and that’s exactly the same as some moments, when people see the drama of live. During the painting process, I always felt depressed with no reason. I just let myself stay under the depression, so I could play with the color unconsciously, not just use them for purpose . Through the playing I was enthusiastic, and enjoyed.
